MagenTys have achieved accelerated growth in head count and revenues over the past 12 months, working on some great projects across BDD, Test Automation and DevOps engineering. This growth is enabling us to invest in new areas and our key strategic initiative for 2017 is our expansion into Cardiff.

For the past 2 years we have been working closely with Companies House in Cardiff to help them implement a test automation framework and transform how testing is delivered and we hope to kick-off a testing transformation project with another existing client within the next 2 weeks. As part of this, we have formed some strong partnerships and made some good friends within the local community who have reaffirmed that Cardiff is a great option for MagenTys. More recently, we have to say a big ‘Thank You’ to Catrin from the Welsh Government who has been helping us setup a local presence.

Our exciting first step is with the Tramshed co-working space, the team there are like-minded entrepreneurs and passionate about building local communities. Kevin McGuire, a Director and Principal Consultant at MagenTys will be relocating to Cardiff on a permanent basis to lead the newly formed office.

Our mission over the next few months will be to start making hires with an aim to get to a local team of 10 by the close of the year across Test Automation and DevOps engineering. We will also look to help the National Software Academy in Newport with Lunch and Learns on software tools and good practice for their students and hope that some of those can will then join MagenTys in 2018 with our first Welsh Graduate programme.
